Believe the Bible (Pt. 2) -- "Bible Inspiration"
In this video, we examine Supplemental Lesson B: Bible Inspiration in the Bible study material "Believe the Bible" produced by Rob Whitacre. We examine that the Bible is from God, thus it has a divine origin. Not only does the Bible claim inspiration, but it also provides abundant evidence including scientific evidence, medical accuracy, prophetic accuracy, geographical accuracy, and ethical evidence. I hope this study helps you to have confidence in your Bible knowing it is the Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16-17).
Powerful Parables of Jesus (Pt. 4) -- The Parable of the 10 Virgins (Matt. 25:1-13)
In this study, we examine the importance of being ready and staying ready. One day, Jesus is coming back. We don't know when He is coming (Matt. 24:36; 2 Pet. 3:10), but we know from the Scriptures, that He is. This parable teaches us the consequences of being prepared, but also, the consequences of being unprepared.
Powerful Parables of Jesus (Pt. 3) -- The Pharisee and the Publican (Luke 18:9-14)
In this study, we continue our examination of the powerful parables of Jesus. We look to the parable of the Pharisee and the Publican (Luke 18:9-14) to learn the kind of attitude we need to have when approaching God in prayer.
"Powerful Parables" Pt. 2 -- Pearl of Great Price (Matt. 13:45-46)
In this study, we examine one of the "Kingdom" Parables: The Pearl of Great Price (Matt. 13:45-46). Jesus emphasizes the incredible value of the Kingdom. It is so important to "seek first the Kingdom" recognizing how important it is (Matt. 6:33).
Powerful Parables of Jesus -- Pt 1 (6/3/2020)
In this study, we introduce and explain parables before examining the "Parable of the Sower" (Matt. 13:3-23; Mark 4:2-20; Luke 8:4-15). After reading Luke's account of this great parable, we strive to find the main point and provide some practical lessons that we all can and must apply to our lives to be pleasing to God.
